Welcome to the New Year. I hope you all had a great Christmas. Mine was fantastic with a trip to Queensland and Christmas day spent with 31 other family members.
Now I am back to business as usual, open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 9 to 3.30.
Just a few reminders if you are having IPL permanent hair reduction treatments. No treatments are performed if you have an active cold sore. The light can trigger and could spread them.
Please wear your sunscreen and a hat if you are having facial treatments. Try and keep the color of your skin as light as possible. Sun tan increases your risk of getting a burn or blister with IPL treatments and I don’t want that to happen. Remember also to let me know if you have an medication changes as some medications can make you light sensitive. Some areas I will recommend that we leave the treatment until winter eg. legs and arms. I don’t do any sun spots or pigmentation treatments this time of the year neither. They are best left to Autumn or Winter after you have had your skin checked by a doctor or dermatologist and a clearance letter from them to say that your spots are safe to be treated. If we remove the color from a lesion it could delay the diagnosis if it is a skin cancer.
Thank you all for such a wonderful 2016 and I look forward to seeing old and new clients in 2017. Thank you for all your referrals to my business. This enables me to keep my treatments affordable for more people as I don’t have to pay for advertising.
Our cosmetic doctor will be here again on Saturday 28th January to do all of your anti aging treatments. Our other dates will be February 11th, March 18th, April 8th, May 13th and June 10th.
