March and Easter is nearly here.
Where has the start of this year gone. I can’t believe its nearly Easter even if it is early again this year. My daughter will be home for Easter so I will be taking some time off to spend with her but I will still be seeing some clients so keep calm and text Mary if you need to see me.
In between seeing clients, a bit of nursing at the hospital, some social events which included having too much fun and breaking my little finger, (which has not stopped me working) I have been busy doing some house renovations. As I mentioned in my last newsletter I have new carpet in our home now and I encourage you to take of your shoes on entering and feel it under your feet.
Pictured below is our new look dining/waiting room.
A couple of tips for anyone that likes renovating. When painting you do not have to wash out your brushes and roller if you are going to use them again. Instead wrap them up in cling wrap and keep them sealed to prevent drying out and you will save a lot of time and water.
When painting door knobs pop them on a skewer, spray paint them and then place them in the ground to dry. A bit of garden art. Pictured above is my door knobs drying and a board I made for my daughters room with $3 signs from Kmart I spray painted and some stickers.

Christmas 2015 donations to City Mission.
At Christmas last year I asked for donations to go to City Mission of food and toys. The response was over whelming and we ended up with a flat tray ute full of goodies. Thank you to everyone who helped this cause. Here is a pic of some of what we donated.
ANTI WRINKLE TREATMENTS.
Dr Ian Hoyle will be here again this Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March for all your anti ageing or skin check requirements. The next dates will be the 16th April and 14th May. If you wish to make an appointment please send me a text to book in as these days book out quickly.
IPL TREATMENTS.
I have been doing some further research on permanent hair reduction treatments and found some new settings that are more comfortable but effective. Please remember no deodorant if I am treating your underarms as some of them leave a white coating and this blocks my light. If possible please remove make up if I am treating your face and no spray tans in the are being treated. I understand sometimes that you need to go out prior to your appointment and will arrive with make up and deodorant on. That’s okay, I may suggest a shower when you arrive, but I do have water and products to remove them.
We are now getting to the time of the year where it is suitable to have IPL treatments for pigmentation or sun spots. Remember you need a letter from your doctor before I will do any of these treatments on pigmentation as taking the color out of a lesion could potentially delay the diagnosis of a skin cancer.
Thank you for all your referrals to my business of your friends and family to my business.
