Greetings to you all again and once again thank you to everyone that keeps on supporting my business and recommending me to your friends and family. I love hearing your positive feedback and recommendations.

This month I celebrate 5 years in business and to celebrate I have put together a winter pamper package with a gift voucher for a facial treatment to the value of $100.00 plus some other goodies including chocolates, coloring book and pencils, a jigsaw puzzle, bed socks, nail polish, a cake in a cup, coffees and other goodies. Another lovely client has donated 2 bottles of Sharman wines and another a gift voucher to the value of $30.00 from Threads at Evandale.

For your chance to win one of these prizes, tickets are $5.00 each and can be purchased from my business. All money and 10% of my takings for the month are going to help a beautiful client/friend of mine who has gastroparesis. The money raised will help with her medical expenses and raise awareness of this medical condition that is becoming more prevalent. She has to go to Melbourne every 2 weeks for medical reviews.

Thank you to everyone who has already bought tickets. The draw will take place on Tuesday 31st May at 4pm and all winners will be notified by me and prizes will need to be collected from my business.

If any other businesses would like to donate a prize or gift a voucher to Rena for a massage, manicure, pedicure please let me know.

Pictured below are the prizes you could win.

Gastroparesis is a condition in which your stomach cannot empty itself of food in a normal fashion. It can be caused by damage to the vagus nerve, which regulates the digestive system. A damaged vagus nerve prevents the muscles in the stomach and intestine from functioning, preventing food from moving through the digestive system properly. Often, the cause of gastroparesis is unknown. ANTI WRINKLE TREATMENTS, SKIN CHECKS.
Dr. Hoyle our visiting doctor who is a GP with an interest in dermatology and anti wrinkle treatments will be here again the 14th May, 18th June, 16th July, 13th August and 24th September.

He is here once a month on a Saturday to do anti wrinkle treatments, fillers, treatments for excessive underarm sweating (hyperhydrosis) and skin consultations. If you have a skin lesion you are concerned about please book in and get it checked. Better to be safe than sorry. He has already picked up and treated basal and squamous cell carcinomas on clients whilst doing treatments here. He is based in Hobart, so not a fly in, fly out doctor. He offers a friendly, professional consultation, will give you his recommendations and quote you a price before doing any treatment.

These days book out fast so please book in soon if you would like an appointment to see him.
I encourage all of my clients to get an annual skin check from their GP or a dermatologist. We have one of the highest rates of melanoma in Tasmania. Now is the time of the year where I perform IPL treatments for pigmentation but you need a letter from your doctor or dermatologist to say you have had your skin checked and you are safe to be treated.

May dermavidual products special.
This month you can purchase a customised mineral make up and receive a complimentary lip or eye/brow pencil. http://www.dermaviduals.com.au/news/makeup-will-love-dermaviduals-deco/

I have been doing some research with my IPL and found some new settings that are more comfortable for permanent hair reduction and the feedback is very positive. New technology that I have been able to adapt to use on my new machine which is called Millie, because we think she will do a million shots.

Once again thank you for all your support. Don’t be hairy, come see Mary. xo
