Phenoxyethanol. Another ingredient to avoid.

Phenoxyethanol is my word of the week. This chemical preservative is used as an antibacterial and a perfume stabiliser. I have found it in everything from baby wipes, sunscreens, “natural goats milk soap and skin care products” just to name a few. It can also be found in paint, insect repellants and jet fuel. This product has been found to be a skin irritant, a suspected carcinogen and found to cause damage to the reproductive system, lungs and central nervous system when tested on animals. Check your labels folks and don’t believe everything labelled “natural” is natural. You will Not find it dermavidual products.
