Winter News June 2018

WELCOME TO WINTER

Can you believe it’s already halfway through June. I hope you’re staying warm!

As mentioned in my last newsletter, I was off to do an educational talk to 18 young ladies about skin care products and the toxic ingredients that may be in the ones they are using.

It was a great success and the girls loved learning about what’s good for their skin and also how to cut through the marketing gimmicks such as dermatologically tested, anti ageing, for sensitive skin etc. I also showed them how easy it is to make baby wipes and lip balms. I also talked to them about about deodorants, especially those (bad) aerosol ones and how the ingredients in some of them could be doing more harm to their bodies than they realise.

As many of you know, I discuss all this with my clients when they come to me for a skin consultation and I also post about them on my Facebook and Instagram accounts so if you are on either of these and are not following me yet have a look at my page. http://Mary’s Skin Care.

We were lucky enough in May to have a family holiday and attend the Commonwealth games. What a fantastic experience it was and I would strongly urge anyone if they get an opportunity like this to do it.

My husband Andrew is being kept very busy with his business and this is now meaning he sometimes is away more for work, Mt. Gambier, New Zealand and in Tassie. Emma is into her second year of her nursing studies and Nic now has full time work at JB HiFi.

I am lucky to being kept busy with so many wonderful clients and the occasional shift at the hospital where I still enjoy my nursing.

I’ll be heading away to do some important further education and I’ll be excited to bring back my new knowledge to my clients.

16th – 18th July and
25th – 28th August

Book in around these dates so you don’t miss out on seeing me.
